"We saw the restaurant and it looked nice, inviting, had a quick Google, reviews were great, managed to book a table with 30 minutes to spare, quick spruce up and in. The service was great, the food was excellent and I thought the price was reasonable, the atmosphere is super, we were very pleased. Only quibble would be a menu in English would have been easier than Google translate. Update, went back the following night it was that good, shout out to Pauline & Lucien for making us feel so welcome."

"We often stay at the Picardy hotel and Le 8 is the ideal restaurant a few steps down the road, open when you need it upon arrival in the town. Good value, varied menu and excellent food. Warm and inviting. I chose salmon gravadlax then the burger with fries, although in a very recent stay before Xmas, the lamb shank. Superb."

"Eaten here a number of times as we always leave satisfied. Only 4 stars for the food this time as the “Souris d’agneau” was accompanied by mashed sweet potatoes which we felt was a little too “liquid” and not the best vegetable to accompany lamb."
